Cannot Connect To Router Via Wireless USB Adapter **PROBLEM SORTED**

I've just formatted my laptop with XP Pro, Service Pack 3. It's not a wireless laptop, so I have to connect to the internet via a USB Wireless Adapter. There's no way that I can connect to the router to get internet access.
When I plug in the adapter no program opens to let me connect. The adapter was bundled with my Tenda router, and the CD that came with it, only opens a wizard to set up the router, not to connect the adapter to router.
I've tried going to my network places on the laptop, but can't see anyhow to connect to the net.
Any ideas??

Edit: Sorted, downloaded drivers from Tenda.
