Does anyone know if you pay customs charge on book orders over £18? I've had a look around and information is mixed and confusing! Graphic novels are classed as zero rated for VAT but can't work out if any other charges would apply.

there are no customs charges on books/comics

luckily for me as I've imported some rather expensive comics over the years.

What postage costs are you all getting? I have 6 books in my basket, standard shipping all together and it's coming to £35! That cant be right as it says $3.99 per item and $3.99 per order, so should be £20 max.

Think some of the books are heavier than normal so charged bulky item shipping.

There are some bargins outside the Marvel items too, Complete Bone is only $14.99 as well as Library Edition of Invincible Vol 1

Went for 3 in the end on the off chance it comes off - Death of Cpt America, Iron Man, and Ultimates.

Well originally went completely mad and went for all the ones I did not have, but cut it back in the end to X-Men, Wolverine, Iron Man, Hulk, Amazing Fantasy , Madman (dont think that has been mentioned here yet?) and Invincible Vol 1.

Be done right gob smacked if this is not some sort of miss-price, and fully expect a cancellation e-mail from Amazon, but hey worth a shot, so thanks for the heads up salty
