argos.co.uk 'user' reviews

Anyone else notice (unless im being blind) that there are all these user reviews on argos, but no way for a user (even when logged in, and on a page of a product purchased online) to add one

.... so are all the reviews fake??

I think they send you a review form whenever you buy something online and have it delivered.

that would make sense, shame as i wanted to add a review of something i purchased in store.

If you reserve to collect at a store, they email you a few weeks later with a link to leave a review as well.

Places like Argos, Tesco , Littlewoods & Currys send emails a few weeks after you have bought something asking to fill out a review

But don't put anything slightly controversial in there otherwise it will not be published. I said something was delivered broken but was replaced quickly. No sign of that.

Then another was outside wooden furniture and quite a few people were saying the colour was fading! I said in our weather climate etc if you kept it covered up then I didn't really have an issue and what did people expect it to do in the UK. Not to be seen also.
None of the comments were against Argos and in fact the second one was backiing up their product but it obviously was not to their liking.

my review wouldnt of been published then.

as it was about item not being in box in multiple stores and head office washing their hands of it and just saying no it doesnt come with that despite it being printed in catalogue, and still on the website but you can buy this for £8 which will cover whats missing.
