Sharing 3G over wireless?

I've got a 3G USB Dongle for my laptop and my laptop has wireless built-in (as they all do now).

What I would like to do is share the 3G connection over wireless as an ifrastructure share and not ad-hoc.

The main reason is my PSP only connects to infrastructure access points and it would be nice to do some online gaming whilst stuck in hotel rooms.

I tried a program called 'Virtual AP' which didn't work. Does anyone know any alternative programs/methods?

In XP that only creates an ad-hoc network though does it not?

Yeah, Mifis are brilliant. I use mine for PC, Iphone, 360 and PS3, often simultaneously (!) and it always works.
