Anyway, just also watched "Surviving Survivor", the pre-cursor. Sad to see that Ethan has cancer. Also, brought back the great memory of Heidi and Jenna getting totally nekkid for peanut butter and Oreos in Survivor: Amazon. Looking at the teams, I would make the Heroes favourites. Wow! That list was spot on, but I didn't peek. I was surprised to see Amanda in the credits when she wasn't in the pre-credit bit, and also VERY happy. Great to see rupert and Sandra back too, can't believe she's a villan though! I think she was the last person I was happy to see win. I wish Yau-man had made it this time, or at least Ian (he was responsible for Tom winning). Don't think Stephanie deserves to be there, she didn't do anything to justify it in her season. Can't even remember Danielle or Candice! Coach isn't a villian, he's a prat, but I guess they couldn't invent a tribe just for him.
Part of me would love to see Rupert finally win, but he'd have to play a different game. Part of me would love to see Russel win, he was robbed, but he's a millionaire too. I'd hate to see Boston Rob,Randy or Tyson win First ep was great. The villians lived up to their names in the first challenge. WTF were they doing to dislocate a shoulder and break a toe in 2 (or 3?) places? I'd be gutted to see anyone go home through injury. Second challenge I felt the Heroes weren't really trying on the boat. I know they still should have won it but it felt like they didn't kill themselves paddling, Tom wasn't paddeling at times even! God knows how they screwed up the puzzle, perhaps the big lead was a hinderence rather than being too big. In the end though Sugar was probably the right choice even though I have a soft spot for her, especially after not letting her modesty get in the way of winning. Next week looks bad for Boston Rob, he looked dead! |

![]() I don't remember Candice nor Danielle either. I personally want Rob to win as he is a Survivor god. You have to recall how he saved Amber in All Stars ![]() Russell is the big threat. He is an unknown to the rest of the cast as the rest of the teams won't have seen his series. Haven't seen him look for idols yet though! ![]() Hope Rob is OK. Age seems to have caught up with him physically

Survivor knob more like! I hated what he did in all-stars, mainly because I hated the fact everyone fell for it so easily!

Well this season has the potential to be freaking awesome based on the opener. Great to see so many people who are great at the social element of the game all together. Parvati had Russell's number from second one, despite not having seen him play the game before. Great hotty quotient too which is never a bad thing.
Coach, Tyson and Randy are still as mongish as ever - I'd be gutted if any of them make it to the latter stages (in fact, I'm going to keep a mong count in this thread from now on). Liking Boston Rob, Russell and Parvati on the Villains, and Tom, Amanda and James on the Heroes (might as well have a quality count too). This season is gonna be good! Mongs 3 - Quality 6

Oh, and will they EVER release a non-blurred out version of these programs?
THere must be a huge amount of blackmail material on the cutting room floor

Boston Rob is alive! I want my money back
![]() As soon as I saw the challenge I knew Heroes would have a problem with the puzzle just like they did last time, and really it should have been easier! I don't know if Rupert had a problem with Stephanie, he just saw her as a threat, but I'm glad someone finally saw through the Stephanie myth. As someone who was part of the worst tribes ever she's got away lightly |

I just don't subscribe to the whole Steph is a jinx malarkey. Thought James was out of order with his bullying tactics.
Glad Rob is OK. Most people remember him for his back stabbing and stuff but the guy is also a very good contestant. Mentally and physically. |

I wouldn't say she's a jinx, but is she a good player? If you'd listened to some people you'd think she was brilliant and had absolutely nothing to do with her tribes multiple losses. Don't you think she must have been somewhat culpable?

Well considering Rob was completely out of it shortly before the trial I thought he did amazingly well with it (especially when he got under the block to push it up with his back).
James has defected from the quality to the mong camp with his behaviour, and it appears it's going to get worse next week. Good on Tom for calling him out on it. I almost cheered when he said "make it three" in tribal council. Mongs 4 - Quality 5

Woooo! You don't know how pumped I was when I watched this weeks challenge. At one point one of the villans nearly did a full somersault :o Felt as good as seeing Spurs win after a weeks of disappointing results, it was that good. I think the Heroes went a bit OTT but oh well.
Russell is up to his old tricks again, WTF is he up to. Feel a bit sorry for Randy, didn't do much wrong, he's got to be better than Pavarti surely? Still he is a ****** so I don't feel that bad. Coach is back with his stories, you'd think he'd have learnt his lesson now. The trailer mentions the hidden idol. You'd think Russell would have been looking for it already. Hmm.... |

I reckon Russell has been looking, but he's found nowt so they haven't showed it being filmed.
I'm starting to tire of the obvious foreshadowing they do in episodes, which becomes ridiculously blatant when you've watched a lot of series of it. When they focused on the villains camp talking about who'd be first for the chop it was obvious they were going to lose the immunity challenge. Also, I think they made a lot of Randy saying their decision is going to come back to bite them, so I fully expect Parvati to go far in the game now. And I don't care what Boston Rob says, there is no way Russell will go next episode. They've given him way too much airtime for him to be an early exiter. Almost forgot, a mong is gone! ![]() Mongs 3 - Quality 5

Russell really does have an advantage in this series but he shouldn't be stupid enough to fall for Parvati. They were right about her being in a great position of power if they merge so I'd take her out asap.
My concern with Boston Rob is that he doesn't seem to have the strong alliances with people he normally gets. At the moment he is surviving on his status and strength/skill. Not something that generally wins this thing

Yeah I had a feeling they'd lose the challenge but I was still surprised the Heroes saw it out. They've always been good at the physical things, it was the puzzles that tripped them, as long as there are less puzzles the Heroes have this made |

Well thank god for that! When Cerie was critizising amanda's decision I was thinking why the hell aren't they going after Cerie? She skated by before and while she's probably the strongest female I,d image she's the slowest too, not to mention she always wants to target the good players.
It certainly made me feel better after a double flop by the heroes althogh they were a close both times That and amanda's bikini

As nice as Amanda was, I'd say Danielle edged her and Candice was just as nice. Pretty good challenge for the male viewers I reckon.
