Play.com - received order, still shows as 'packing'

Thread title pretty much says it all - ordered a BD at the weekend, money taken out at start of the week, and received the disc today. Strangely, though, I never received a shipping email, and logging into my account it still shows as 'packing'. Anyone else ever encountered this?

I have had this many times with them, more often than not the item turns up without them ever sending me a shipping email.

Yeah I've had this before too. They'll more than likely update your account to reflect that it has shipped over the next 48 hours, thats how its been in my case when its happened.

OK, thanks guys - obviously I'd much rather have the item than the email, but after years of using them it was the first time I'd encountered this. I also thought they were being really slow in sending it out, but then it arrived out of the blue.
