The model code listed on the site is the one we have, it seems to be a newer model as it's 6.5ms response and 1200:1 contrast ratio and not the 8ms and 1000:1 as stated in that write up. I'll post back the HD results tomorrow once I bring my 360 in.

I only have a Samsung LE32R74 for comparison but as it is rated the best mid-ranged LCD it will be interesting to see the differences between them.

Looks like the new 551 model. Can it double as a monitor as (I think I heard) the 451 can?

I was hoping it wouldn't have because I'm really tempted by this now.

I'd be very interested to hear what the Xbox 360 is like on it as that would be my primary use for the TV

Is D-Sub the same thing as DVI from a PC's graphics card?

Could you tell me how many HDMI inputs on this TV and do you sell wall mounting brackets for this.

Also what's the postage cost.

Cheers

Hmmm, toying with this. Bit big for my room perhaps, but then again...

I'll probably dwell on it until just after they've all sold out as I usually do!

It has 1 HDMI input, we don't sell any wall mounting brackets at the moment unfortunately.

Shipping to Uk Mainland is £11.99

The tuner is Analogue. I'll post back the 360 results shortly.

I will be interested to hear what it's like with the 360.
I'm looking to upgrade my 32" standard def T.V. and the only Hi-def source I will use (at the moment) is my 360 so this will be most important.
Definitely interested to hear how it compares with the Samsung.

Thanks for all the info so far. Another question though if you don't mind. Whats the picture like with an SD source? I've seen some reviews of earlier AOC models and they say that it's lacklustre, has it been improved on?

I've finally managed to drag myself off the xbox and I am really impressed with the HD picture, I have tried a few games, to try and test for dark patches in games (Battlefield and Call Of Duty 3) and also Test Drive to check for motion problems.
As with all lcd and plasma tv's the standard colour and brightness need a little playing with to get them right. After adjusting the settings the picture is well balanced with good dark black and bright white. I didn't see any motion problems playing Test Drive. Both Battlefield and Call Of Duty 3 looked great with no black patches in darker areas.
The HD videos i have look great and the sound seems to be better than my Samsung LCD. One thing i have never liked on my samsung is the uneven light from the backlight which this AOC doesn't have. The blacklight is perfectly balenced with no visable light at each corner.
I haven't been able to test much SD on it unfortuantly, we quickly viewed a dvd yesterday and I didn't see any problems that I have noticed on other budget lcds. The PC interface takes 1366 x 768 @ 60hz. My graphics card is limited to 1360 x 768 so the picture wasn't 1:1 pixel matched but there is software available from what i have read to force your graphics card to output 1366 x 768 resulting in 1:1 pixel matching. Even with the slight overscan the picture was very good but for the small time it would take to force a 1366 x 768 output I would recommend it from the results I have read about.

Any more questions please ask.

Oli

Are you going to have a steady stock of these or is it just a limited time thing? I have to think long and hard about my financial standing but at the same time I dont want to miss out.
