Thanks for that!

On a similar note, does anyone know a good site for getting free wallpapers and/or ringtones?

Cheers

Thumbs up

Ringtones: freeloader.fact.co.uk

You have to do some work yourself if there isn't one available that someone else has created, but if you can create a midi file, an mp3 or a wav file (depending on the final format) then freeloader will create a suitable file for you to download via WAP.

I thought i'd give you guys a heads up on some new software i've almost finished.
This software enables the user to send free sms messages via gprs or passthrough connection to activesync.
There are 3 parts to the program, the server(desktop pc), the client(phone) and the great http://www.genietexter.co.uk/.
1) Start the server on the pc.
2) When you want to text someone, fire up java on the phone and start this program.
It will login you into ur pc at home and once you send ur message, the server will autorun genietexter and send your message.
Simple

The program has an inbuilt phonebook (sorry, i don't know how to import the phones contacts).
I've got a bit of fine tuning to do, but it should be ready soon.

Works great with my new C500
