For some reason first time I switched my box on tonight it didn't auto sign-in so I had to do it manually. Been fine since then. Should I be worried.

I notcied another XBLA game is 1200 points, it looks like it might be the new standard price for games
Both virtual on and MVSC2 should be 800 points each, its not like they have re-drawn the graphics

Latest update on those gamerpoints I won in a Microsoft Prize draw that were "invalid"....
After 5-6 weeks of phone-calls to/from Xbox support & getting nowhere, I got a call just over a week ago to say that the delay was because I had still to send them proof of purchase! ... I re-informed them for the zillionth time that the cards were a prize & were sent to me from the US. I was then asked to scan the letter that came with the cards & email it to them, which I did. They also confirmed, for the first time, that the cards were not invalid, but were US cards, for use with US accounts only. Anyways, a day later, they called again to say they had received the scanned letter & that it would help with my "appeal". I asked why it was described as an appeal & was told that it would not be definite that i'd get proper UK codes. I told them I was very unhappy at this attitude to an obvious cock-up by them. They called again today. Guess what? ... Yup, my "appeal" was unsuccessful! ![]() Microsoft have decided that it was not their fault, but a mistake by a US marketing company called "Gage" who handle all Xbox promotions. It was then suggested that I contact this company & take it up with them. ![]() I remained calm, told them of my disgust at the situation & attempted to speak to someone higher up, but it was a supervisor I was speaking to, so got nowhere. I eventually typed up an email to Gage & got a reply, several hours later. They apologised & said they'd send me replacement codes, but first I have to DHL the US cards back to them. They also suggested to save time, that intstead, I just drop-off the cards at my nearest DHL drop-off depot & provided me with a website link ..... to yes, you guessed it again, the US ******* DHL website. I'm from ******* Scotland, you imbeciles!!!

Used to love this. They should have done the same thing with the first one. http://kotaku.com/5236081/teenage-mu...t-of-its-shell |

Used to play that a lot on the SNES, was ace. Needn't be 3D, would prefer HD 2D visuals really but I guess that's actually the harder route these days.

A few new demos on Live but at the minute all for the US/Canada, UP the video game, Sega Genesis (megadrive) collection and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Been playing the Xmen game (but on the ps3) and its fairly good, gets a bit repetitive, bit surprised how gory it is, not worth £40 but worth getting when its £20 or less
I did like most of the game, it was simple racer, not too taxing to play after playing something tense like Riddick but I stopped playing it when it got a bit boring. Getting 1st placed in the terrible "monster trucks" checkpoint race is not fun so I didn't bother Last edited by fivebyfive; 02-05-2009 at 07:15. |
