Loved it! A simply perfect ending to a fantastic trilogy, this has to be up there as one of the best (& consistent) films series... ever!

Really excellent film. Every bit as good as the first two. Loved every bit of it.
Laughed out loud a fair bit. The opening scene, Ham getting dibs on Barbie's Corvette, the monkey watching the camera screens. Really wonderful stuff.

Completely in awe of Pixar. Absoulute genius.
Loads of great moments - nobody's mentioned Buster yet though? Thought that was brilliant ![]() Was getting really twitchy late on after reading about people crying about the end
10/10. What a great week at the cinema after seeing Inception a few days ago. |

If you didn't cry then you have no soul.

Agreed. If you didn't cry I'd check your pulse, because I think you must be dead.
It won't make children cry though, the emotion is really only applicable to adults. I think what gets most of us is the relationship between Andy and his Mum - the and theme of 'flying the nest'.

It's a great movie, there were a couple of moments where I almost welled up (but nothing remotely comparable to the first 15 minutes of Up), but I don't think the movie was quite up to the standard of the first two (Toy Story 2 in particular, still Pixar's greatest achievement). Pixar remain way ahead of the pack, but the ending of this flick wasn't the blub-fest I was expecting based on reviews and comments beforehand.

I wasn't just crying in the furnace scene, I was shaking in my seat too. Incredible stuff.
![]() I still rathe the original over Toy Story 2 though, and having watched 2 again recently I'd say The Incredibles and Ratatouille are both better than it too. |

I haven't seen TS3 yet - but all my female friends who've taken their kids - Without exception, have HATED it - there's 6 of them.
They all say its dark and depressing. I have no idea why as I won't let any of them tell me the plot. I obviously need new friends..... |

Dark and depressing? There's one scene that's Schilders List for toddlers but the rest of it's as bright and breezy as the other films.

The whole concept of the two rooms at the playcentre, was hugely disturbing, although thankfully it will go over the heads of the younger viewers. Way too dark compared to the other two - still a great film, but your friends are partially correct. For the record, the furnace scene did not make me cry, the stuff with Andy's Mum and the whole end sequence with Andy handing over his toys had me blubbing like a baby. |
