Yep, another one here....novelty is very much wearing off. Loved the first half of the season, now find myself skipping most of the songs. Still love Brittany though

This is still season one.

I don't have sympathy for Kurt because he was asking for it. It is fine to express yourself but not at the expense of others.

I agree I felt he pushed Finn and yet the show paints Finn as the villian and has him put down by Kurt's Dad.

I also felt the ''mother'' storyline was pretty woeful.

Well that's it, the last US TV series I follow now shut down for the summer

Thought the Bohemian Rhapsody sequence over the birth of the baby was quite nicely done.

I liked Sue taking the mickey out of the "not at all stupidly named Aural Intensity". No idea how Idina Menzel would specifically adopt "Beth" though, since when do you get to choose your adoptive baby, that moment stuck out as somewhat unlikely . I guess it confirms that Menzel will be in the next season (maybe this was widely known already, I don't know) which seems a good thing.

That was a great episode to finish the season. It was quite sickly sweet at times but even so I really enjoyed it and found it quite moving!

Yeah, highly enjoyable ending which effectively reboots the show, so fingers-crossed we get a more fluid 2nd season with proper story-arcs. Shouldn't be too difficult with them knowing they have a greenlit 3rd season in the bag, although I guess that could make them lazy too.

Now, I gotta go get that grit that got in my eye earlier....

Got to love how Quinn's labour lasted less than the run time of Bohemian Rhapsody, and she got through it without a hair out of place and make-up intact.

Loved it, great end to the show (had enough of Idina, bring back the popular one ) couple of great tunes in there, To Sir with Love has always been one of my favorite songs (well, since discovering Lulu in the Lingerie section of a Freemans catalogue back bout "72 ), didn't see that coming cause I was enjoyin it so much.

The whole thing worked for me and sets the next show up nicely but now gotta decide wether to check out the usual sites in advance as I was doing the first half but avoided the second half.

Still the only show everyone in our house sits down an watch's togather and thats amazing

Awwwww! Nice ending to the season (even if it was the rather predictable 'Rocky' ending)!
Now, if they can just make season 2 (a lot) more cohesive...

WHY NO SEASON 1 BLU-RAY FOR THE UK FFS?
Sept 13th there'll be "The Complete Season 1" and "Season 1 Vol 2: Road to Regionals" dvd sets but no blu-ray set.
Why does Fox hate the UK so much when it comes to tv on blu-ray?

Well you wouldn't want realism in a show like this would you ? Imagine watching 22 hours of labour and quinn crapping herself in glorious high definition.

For "To Sir, With Love" it packed a punch but I would have preferred it had it been a totally live performance from them all.

Also when Idina's character went to see the baby and Quinn I thought after her discussion about missing Rachel's formative years that she would have talked Quinn into keeping the baby... I woulda liked it had she done it through the medium of song... that woulda been a more inspiring path for Idina's character to take.

It's been a great season and despite the second half being a lil "Theme of the week" the last two episode more than made up for it!

You could expect that though as it was only 12 then they extended half way through. I think next season will have (hopefully) a better story all the way through it.

Also 3 new members too
