General S8 - 24

Watching this series this time and do they seem to have lost a lot of 'tech' and sense / skills from other series.

There's no tracking of mobiles - seeing who rang who want and 'hacking' into them - i.e. seeing who rang who from the baddies phone.

No satellite tracking there's some drones that never seem to work. Very little traffic cam monitoring - is it all part of the story to change it - we new 'rubbish' CTU staff - lots of sockets and bits opened.

Anyone else get the same feeling there have been a few steps backwards?

All of those things are only plot devices that are wheeled on at the writer's convenience. If they don't help the plot, they strangely disappear from CTU's arsenal. It's been the same with all seasons hasn't it?

I think so it just seems more so with this series, simple things like looking at who the 'baddie' called or was called by have gone, no cell phone tracking etc etc.

But as long as they keep them sockets open and servers up will keep watching!
