There is an Age Of Booty game on offer for £3.99, is this any good? Reviews say its good but mainly due to online play. But is it good offline and does it have offline multiplayer?

I am clueless on this one!

I certainly enjoyed the single player / skirmish modes. I've not managed an on-line game though as I've never found enough opponents

Yes. I might buy it at that price.

Eurogamer are covering the Sony GDC event at midnight tonight.

More details on the "Arc" motion controller are likely.

There was talk last week of a surprise sequel being announced, with speculation that it would be Resistance 3, though I wouldn't describe that as surprising. Insomniac have since denied that the reveal would be their title anyway. So my thoughts were either inFamous 2 or, perhaps more relevant to GDC, LittleBigPlanet 2?

I'd also like to hear about a Heavy Rain: Uncut/Extended edition type release, that included use of the new motion controller.

It'll probably be none of that though!

Definetly up for LBP2, great to see them purchase the studio last week too keeping it exclusive to the PS3 whilst giving the studio more resources and money to play with I'd imagine.

I think Resistance will need to do alot in the next game to make it an essential purchase for me, the theme of the previous games was the biggest draw, enjoyed them but the weapons balance and actual game mechanics in my opinion were fairly ropey and the first game reeked of launch title.

Already said it on another thread but if there doing motion control stuff I'd love to see a new point blank game using the controller.

Oh yeah forgot that was 'outed' last week. I suppose the suprise is that Zipper Interactive have gone back to the series they started after Slant Six Games launched 'Confrontation' on PS3, whilst the Zipper team were making MAG.

I've not seen the vids but Playstation Move + Sub Controller. Bowling, Boxing, Table Tennis... It's taken them this long to flat out rip off the Wii? Am I missing something?

New sub-title "Its so MOVING"

or

"Move along now, nothing to see here"

I'd go with the latter.

Will they be 'moving' home?

Looks lame. I don't know how they can't announce it without a light sabre game. The wii still hasn't done it properly. I would have though the accuracy of this new one will make it a dead cert. It's absence is so glaring, it makes me think they don't want to make money at all.

Got to get the lawyers working on whether they have avoided patent infringement!

I don't see the non serious casual gamers buying it to play the wii sports type games unless the ps3 drops in price to £199 with the arc controller + game

I wish they would get a clue with the official EU blog page, for the past week or so they've been using a video or flash plugin which is randomly locking up my PS3.

Kind of garbage that there own site can't be viewed on the PS3 without stability issues.

Theres a good post on there about Hustle Kings, says the free update will add video and voice chat, tweak fine aiming, have a blue chalk only online mode (at last), have a minimal aiming line option, stability tweaks, cushion/physics tweaks plus there giving away a few new tables called "crazy" tables.
