Thinking of getting this in HMV for £5.99. Anyone got a view on the picture quality and whether it's anamorphic ?

I seem to remember a thread in which it was said that the picture was virtually the same as the Criterion (anamorphic and rather good); a steal at the price then.

if you love this film, get the Criterion edition.
Anamorphic.
Superb audio commentary by John Schlesinger & the lead stars.
