In my opinion you are best off using a learning remote control with all that stuff.

You can get the Cambidge Audio M500 for £29.95. That is a top remote :D They are at richer sounds ( www.richersounds.com )
You learn the commands from the original remotes , so you can have any of the functions of the original on your universal remote.You can program up to 10 devices with 47 buttons per device !!!!!

With the pre-programmed ones very few of the original remote's features are available. Thats if it even operates the device at all.
