Hi there,

I have a PAL only TV.

If I buy a low cost mulit region DVD player or a player I can hack, will this convert the signals to PAL for me ? Or do I need a NTSC compatible TV ?

I was going to buy one from Tecso but I don't know if that will do the job ....

???

Don't know about the Tescos players (although the Wharfedale ones they used to sell only did NTSC/PAL 60).

It sounds like you need PAL 50 output, so IMO you'd be better off buying a Samsung (209/511) or an LG 3000E. Those are very cheap players that can fully convert NTSC signals to proper PAL ones (allowing NTSC material to be backed-up on PAL VHS also)....
