There were a few available on R1, but they've all bee deleted now.
Haven't heard anything about any reissues, which is a crying shame.

The Paramount titles were all available on R1, but sadly no longer – a pity, as they were pretty good transfers: for the first time in my life I could actually understand the ultra-primitive soundtrack of The Cocoanuts! I reviewed them all for DVD Times – see the link at the top of this page.
The MGM titles have never been released on DVD, but I’d be amazed if they weren’t being considered.
The documentary The Unknown Marx Brothers still seems to be available, and I highly recommend it – but it’s not for beginners. To find out why, see my review!

I have the Duck Soup, Animal Crackers, Horse Feathers boxset. I got it on ebay a while back. I'd already ordered it from DVDboxoffice and all these months later they still send me email telling me that its on back order!
I'd certainly like to get hold of their other films as well.

Starter question for 5 points.
Name all FIVE Marx brothers.

This is such a ludicrously easy question that it must be a trick one, so the only possible answer is: Leonard, Adolph, Julius, Milton and Herbert.

...and Karl makes SIX.
Wish I'd bought the boxset when I had the chance. :(
The documentary DVd sounds interesting though.

Is it? It's only a few weeks that I've known there are (were) more than four of them. :( And I'm not smart enough to ask trick questions. :D So I guess this teaches me not to act wiser than I really am.

The MGM titles is own by Warner, there was a chat last year on Home Theater Forum with Warner, the answer to the Marx Brothers DVD's was:
"All are under consideration with no timetable attached."
