Do you really want to get ITV Digital?

There are rumours that the company are possibly in the position that, if they can't get out of their contracts with the footie league and the hollywood studios, then they may deliberately go into bankrupcy (so that the millions they owe will be written off).

Unless it's really urgent, you might be better off waiting for the new "Free-to-air" digiboxes from Pace and Nokia (which will be similar to this (http://www.nokia.com/multimedia/210t/index.html)). The boxes are due in a few months time, and will have the facility to get a ITV Dig subscription as an "upgrade". This option would be more expensive than getting a set-top box now, but at least the box is yours to keep (unlike the present scheme :( ).

They also have plans to change their encrpytion to SECA 2 to knock out pirate cards,hoping that those wIth 'gold' cards will start subscribing.I'd say that they would be more likely to move to SKY.
