My girlfriend got me NOTORIOUS,SEVEN AND THE RAGGED TIGER,BIG THING AND DURAN DURAN 1ST album on wicked 2disc +dvd boxsets. .... Any idea if RIO and THE other albums Will receive this great attention to their back catalogue

Hi mate.

Rio has already received the 2 disc/remastered treatment last year and is probably the best of the bunch in terms of sound quality - it was mastered by a different team though and doesn't come with a DVD or box. It's in 2 disc book packaging. Totally recommended to pick up though - it contains all the alternate US mixes of the tracks.

There is also a very good 3 disc remaster of Arcadia's So Red The Rose that came out earlier this year that is worth getting too, as well as some live gig's that came out at the same time as the 3 disc remasters to compliment each album - these were digital only releases though - find them on iTunes.

As for the next batch of albums - as they have been much less popular, I'm not sure they are on the slate.
