View Full Version : BargainCrazy Advice Please!
Ordered the Thundercat awhile back!
Firstly, they charged my Card £87.00 although all their correspondence stated the Amount charged to be less 10%, even though the Promotional Code used had expired in the Previous Month, should they have not cleared the New Amount with me?
Secondly, and more important, they made 2 Failed Attempts at delivering the Item because although they had given the Courier Company the Correct Street Address and Contact Number, they had the Town wrong, i.e. London instead of Birmingham. They have now decided to cancel my Order with the excuse that they don’t have a Replacement Item!
I’m not one to dwell on a Lost Bargain, but in this case, my Kids have got their Hopes up waiting for their New Toy, and it sadness me to have to let them down because of the Useless CS from BargainCrazy.
Do I have any grounds here, or would it be like ******* against the Wind?

So what happened to your original parcel? Surely the courier co still have it? Or has someone in London got a freebie?

In my lost Email to them I asked, why they couldn’t just deliver the Item to the Correct Address, haven’t received a Response, this was 2 Days ago!

Firstly id ring up trading standards about this. As they have charged your credit card for the item already, there in a contract to supply you with the goods you ordered.
Depending on what trading standards say, id try and get BC to give you some compensation, for the inconvience to you and the distress caused to your children, after all it was there clerical error.
I'll give them till the end of Today to reply!

Mr R
You've got to use the phone mate, e-mail is far too inpersonal for this kind of situation.
If you don't get any joy from whoever answers the phone, ask for her/his name and the name of someone responsible for the customer services section, whom you can write to.
Be polite, courteous and assertive, any half decent company should be able to clear this one up, even if you have to write to them.
This normally works for me. ;)

Good advice from caterma there, I've always found Bargincrazy staff and other GUS CS very helpful.
Bargain Crazy charged me for a bed I ordered nearly six weeks ago on the day of the order. They keep trying to blame the courier company for non-delivery. Unless I get satisfaction from them by the end of this week, I'm getting in touch with the credit card company. They're just taking the mick now. :(
WTF !!!
Email response:
We don’t give a Rats Ass, so NO we will not be redirecting the Delivery.
Yet I received a Call from White Arrow, Today, to re-schedule Delivery!
Edit:
carterma, I'm always Polite, Courteous and Assertive! :D

I also ordered a bed six weeks ago and have been charged. The also blamed the courier company and said i wasn't in when they tried to deliver even though on the day they quoted i was in all day. They are not replying to my emails now, after i asked for another bed if they have not got any of the one left i ordered. My cc became involved yesterday:mad:
