Ok...had a claim for a missold PPI policy in for over a year now.Left on holiday on 8th October,returned yesterday to find a letter from the solicitors dated 7th October telling me the financial ombudsman had upheld my claim,i had to sign a settlement form and return it by 15th October :( obviously i was away until yesterday,solicitors are now closed till Monday.What's the likelihood of the deadline being extended due to me being out of the country? Or have i lost out on a few bob through no fault of my own? obviously will be on to the solicitors first thing Monday morning but was hoping someone here might have an idea on what the outcome might be :help:
