View Full Version : Neon Genesis Evagelicon r1 v r4
Does the r4 PAL version look better?? I'm tierd of blowing up r1 anime on a 40" screen and looking burry.
I've just had a 5-10min look at my Vol2 R1 and Vol3 R4 discs to see what difference I could see and I would have to say its a tough call to make. The R4 maybe looks slightly better overall giving it the edge over the R1 but the difference really isn't that pronounced.
Makes it tough for me as i'm considering selling my collection (Vols1&2 R1, Vols3-8 R4) and buying the R1 boxset.
Tested on 32" Widescreen TV.
