Sony STR DH510, really low sub.

Hi,

I've got the sony STR DH510 receiver with the tannoy sfx 5.1 speaker system and i cant get the sub to work properly. Its so low that you cant hear it unless you stick you head next to it.

Any ideas whats wrong?

You need to turn the volume up on it?
