Connecting a SONY STR-475 Rechiver to a Samsung M105 player?

Hey, ive got a Sammy m105 player, and im hoping to purchase a SONY STR 475 Rechiver, can any one advise me into what I will require? will I be able to get DTS and DD5.1 if I connect the two with optical?

The Sony will handle DD and DTS via a coaxial digital or optical connection. The major issue is the Samsung players abilities. I am afraid I am unfamiliar with it.
As to the second question, if you are a Sony fan you will probably find little wrong with it. However you may be able to get a 'little more' for your money from rival brands, and this makes it a very subjective question. I am in my second year of ownership of my STR-DB930, and it still manages to impress. Extra channels and prologic II have not yet managed to convince me to upgrade.
