I want to try using Imation 80min CD-R.

So far I've found them for £9.99 + £4.95pp + VAT = £17.00+

which is nearly twice as much as I'd want to pay!

Anyone here know a good place to get these online?

P.S. They must be Imation 80mins!

A lot of people who use Apple Macs have recommended them.

As a Mac user, I thought I'd investigate them as my first '80 min' CD-R purchase.

Unfortunately, they aren't that common over here in the UK (the people I spoke to were mostly from the US where Imation are more easily found).

I got some from PC world a while back.

So try PC world/dixons.

Dont know price though but at least no postage is applicable!

http://www.redstore.com/fx/prc_gen.php3?genre=PC&cat=CDR&subcat=media

£4.50

Delivery is a fiver from these...

Worth looking around the site, some stuff is a lot cheaper than elsewhere, esp. network cables + the little 5port switch.

Thanks for the tip for RedStore.com

How good are their prices!!! Wow!

On another site I saw, the price of the media was over twice the price on RedStore.com, and the p&p price was no different!

Thanks for hooking me up with a great bargain, and a new place to spend my cash!!!

cheers

Floop, I know there not on-line, but if you have a local Morrisons you can buy 3 packs of 10 for £10. There 80mins and 32x write.
I posted it today in the bargains forum.
