If those performances and Power is anything to go by, and on top of everything he has been through and the daft things he has done (as well as the tool he has become), this could be his darkest album yet.

I am a huge fan of the guy thought, went and saw him in Manchester pre-Graduation and it was a great show. Do think each album is a bit poorer than the last, but they arent bad albums by a long stretch. College Dropout is just superb though.

Weird/crap film, awesome music. Love Dark Fantasy, Runaway and All of the Lights. The snippet of the Cudi song was awesome too. Can't wait for the album.

Loving this album at the minute. Dont think it is quite my favorite Kanye album, but this is very different from his earlier stuff (a lot of it anyway) and he has managed to take what worked well on 808s and use it here.

You have to give the guy some credit for his ambition and trying something different, and for the most part the new album pulls it off.

I'm determined to get into this, after all the rave reviews in the press. Especially like the Mike Oldfield/Jon Anderson sample on Dark Fantasy. And King Crimson on 'Power'!

Had a listen in the car on the way home from work and am enjoying it on first play...Kanye's strength is as a producer and he's pulled out the stops on this...I hope I don't find it too gimicky after a few listens. I like the guests he's got on tracks (Jay, Nicki Minaj and Raekwon in particular) and I think Monster and Hell of a Life are my two faves so far.

Monster is insane. Blame Game is good too. There isn't really a duffer on it, which is rare for a hip-hop long player. Even the Chris Rock skit is funny!

I had to drive from Bristol to Watford today leaving hone at 4.30am. Knowing the radio isn't great at this time I thought I'd stick a copy of this in the CD player and wow I can't remember being so blown away on a first listen for long time. Monster is an awesome track, the Nicki Minaj verse is perfect. Listened to the Cd on repeat most of the way up and back.

Had this on repeat in my car for so long now. Only switched to the radio every so often and then after a little while listening to that I will thing "I fancy listening to [insert track from My Dark Twisted Fantasy]", so I stick it on and end up listening through the album again.

Still loving it and can't decide on my favorite track- do seem to love playing Lost in the World though.

I can't believe so many people are loving the Kanye West album. I gave it a listen on my Sonos S5 earlier (via Napster) and I thought it was utter over-produced rubbish from start to finish. It was almost as bad as the latest auto-tuned to death album from the Black Eyed Peas.

I kinda went into it in the mindset as this kind of brash, hyper hedonistic, egotistical album, such is Kanye.

Maybe you were thinking this is going to be a 'pure' hip-hop, which it certainly isn't. You gotta take it as Kanye West on a speedball diffusing whatever comes out his talented yet maniac mind.
