Apologies beforehand if this is in the wrong area.

Anyway, I'm trying to record footage of myself playing a game on my PS2, but I'm not very good with technology. I have a Samsung LE32R74BD TV and a Samsung SH893 DVD recorder. Obviously, it's highly unlikely that anyone here will have this combination of TV and DVD recorder, but I've attached pictures of the backs to show what ports there are.

To the best of my knowledge, I need to connect the A/V cords from PS1 to the DVD recorder where it has an input, and an A/V cord from the DVD recorder's output to the TV's input. However, I expected the A/V input on the DVD recorder to be RWY ports, but this seems not to be the case.

Any help please? Thanks in advance.

Just plug the PS2 scart cable into the DVD recorder (probably that top scart socket), just like you would a freeview box (or whatever you use it for) and plug the DVD recorder into the Tv as normal.

Does the PS2 slim come with a SCART cable? I don't have to use one normally with it. Anyway, I think a SCART to RCA cable would allow me to connect my PS2 to my DVD recorder. Is that right?

You can get a Ps2 scart cable, I think my Ps2 came with one back in the day. But yeah you use a scart to RCA, that would work too.
