How do you eat yours?

Or more precisely how loud do you turn it up?

With DTS I go to about -37.5
With DD5.1 I go to about -33.5
With PCM from CD's its about -45
I haven't experimented with videos much yet.

Is this about right, i'm not going to damage my Mordaunt Short 902's and 904's and my B&W VM-1 centre and Yammy YST 205 at these volume levels before they've been properly run in...am I?

Crank it up loud like me 30db at least, until the wifey complains. I think my speakers can take it

I've got no neighbour problems, but I've never wound mine up past -30dB. Just think a whole stonkin' 0.1W of raw power per channel. Scary really!
