Did anyone else catch this?

Tom Hollander was great and the script seemed pretty good to me. Not belly laughs, but consistent chuckles (which may be the point it seems.)

Definitely going to stick with it.

I enjoyed it, the Rev is human with all the problems we have. Even us Dawkin worshipers will like this ;)

Is it meant to be a comedy?
My not-funny-comedy tolerance is down to about 5 minutes now, and this show only lasted for 4.

Watched it last night and thought it was poor.

It also had a glaringly obvious continuity error (I never usually spot these things!)

The final scene when there sitting out on the bench the bloke hands the vicar his beer which he takes in his left hand, only to magically appear in his right when seen from another angle!

Enjoyed the final episode tonight. Way more satisfying than The IT Crowd finale. Very human, not LOL-funny, just human-funny. Hope it gets another series.

Haven't caught up with last night's episode yet but have really been enjoying the series so far. Though I wonder how much of that is because, like so many, I was brought up attending a CofE church and recognise a lot of it.

Particularly like the 'charismatics' bringing their sofas and smoothie bar into the church in ep 2.

I liked it, and a lot of figures in the church are speakingly kindly about it. Even the ABOC has endorsed it.

Look at the amount of Rev's in the end credits, I would guess a lot of it is worryingly realistic.
