When it is reported such as
"Columbia Tristar has announced fortcoming titles/specifications for April"

Where is it announced?
On their websites?
on DVD websites?
Who announces it
Where is the official announcement made


Slightly confused

Official Emails (online) or telegrams (post) are sent to publications/websites/shops with details of each release.

The company's websites are usually just there to promote what is already available.

After being around the DVD scene for a while, you should just build up a whole host of bookmarks for DVD news sites - these contain the info you mention
