I've got a Blackberry 8220 pearl flip, which I was really excited about originally. Finally a phone that I can sync my calender and contacts. It worked fine while I was using outlook but now my needs have changed.
We use google hosted apps at my new job, so I have a google calender and my contacts are in gmail. I could sync both google and the blackberry to outlook but I have a new Windows 7 PC which has no outlook, not even outlook express. I don't have a data plan but use wifi.
The google sync app is a pile of rubbish for several reasons, not the least of which is that it fails to sync almost all of the time and will only sync every once in a while. Then there's that habit it has of deleting all the data on your phone.
Does anybody have any experience with third part programmes that will let me sync my blackberry to google calender and contacts either using a USB cable or wifi?
This has been driving me crazy for a couple of weeks and has really made me regret trying out a smart phone. If there are any simple solutions to this, I'd be very grateful.
