Hope I spelt those correctly, are they available on DVD yet and what are the best versioons/regions?
DEFINATELY Region 1 for "Amores Perros". It is better than R2 in most ways (including removable subs and optional commentary on the film & deleted scenes).
amelie r2 thread here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53226), apparently the r1 won't have english subs
The R4 Amores Perros looks pretty hot, same as R1 I think

The R4 doesnt contain the Director and Writer Commentary or the
Featurette examining the films dog fighting sequences.

Amores Perros R1 (I have it and it rocks)
Amelie R2 either -
UK R2 if you want English Subs (released April 15th) or French R2 if you do not need English Subs.

I was seriously thinking of buying the R4 as its so damn cheap at ezydvd just now, but the R1 commentary is holding me back on whether to commit or not. Can any R1 owners of Loves A Bitch tell me if the commentary is really worth spending that little bit extra ??
Thanks

BHS The commentary is very interesting, but you should be aware that it is in Spanish with subtitles.

which would make 2 sets of subs on the screen at once, in some places? Could be confusing. Sounds like I might go for the R4 after all.
Thanks Joe

Thanks Joe When you select the commentary, the subtitles for the film dialogue are replaced, so only one set are on the screen :) . You need to be a quick reader though, as the director / writer rattle along at an alarming speed
By the way, all subtitles are electronically generated (not burned in), in easy to read yellow text with black outlines, and are W/S TV friendly.
