HELL'S KITCHEN
"16 Chefs Compete" - 8 \ 7c
**SEASON PREMIERE**
-- "HELL'S KITCHEN" -- (8:00-8:59 PM ET/PT)
SIXTEEN NEW CONTESTANTS BRAVE THE HEAT OF "HELL'S KITCHEN" ON THE ALL-NEW SEASON PREMIERE TUESDAY, JUNE 1, ON FOX
Chef Ramsay kicks off the new season of HELL'S KITCHEN by announcing that this new batch of contestants will successfully complete the opening night's dinner service. He then divides the 16 chefs into two teams - women vs. men - and sends them to the kitchen to create their signature dishes. After the presentation of the dishes, Ramsay sends the chefs back to the dorms to study the restaurant menu and watch a special HELL'S KITCHEN instructional video. During the dinner service, however, things do not go as smoothly as Chef Ramsay had hoped, and he takes some drastic measures in the "16 Chefs Complete" Season Premiere episode of HELL'S KITCHEN airing Tuesday, June 1 (8:00-8:59 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HK-701) (TV-14; D, L) CC PA: Viewer discretion is advised. [VIEWER'S NOTE: Please note unique start/end times for this evening's programming.]
Cast: Chef Gordon Ramsay
I'm sure this has been moved in the schedule, but it means it is airing sooner that I thought, so who cares
I've been waiting for this years, 5 & 6 came very quickly after each other so i expected a bit of a gap this time round
But the question is will it be the most unforgetable season that i will never believe?
But the question is will it be the most unforgetable season that i will never believe?
Yes! And you won't believe what happens next!
I gave up on HK after 2 series, I'll be watching Losing it with Jillian and Wipeout instead
THIS season on HELL'S KITCHEN is the one YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!11111
...Unless you tuned in for a cookery show
Next week a SHOCKING!!!111 mutiny on an OUT OF CONTROL HK you have to SEE to BELIEVE :clap:
(Basically, not a thing has changed then)
I'm struggling to maintain enthusiasm for this.
Can't eblieve they would actually allow the winner to be head chef at the Savoy?!!! Anton Mossimon eat your heart out! :D
I never thought I would get bored of this show but it's happening.
Seasons 1-4 were very good as they had characters in there. These people seem boring/anoying.
Plus the Savoy!!!!????
I've seen some staged stuff on HK USA over the past few years but the walkout was one of the more obvious ones!
And cue the token 'Chef Ramsay eliminates someone who wasn't up for elimination' elimination
For the next 5 weeks there are 2 back to back episodes each week
FRIES!!!111
Ramsay's wife must have ensured she appear on any 'treat' Ramsay does with the females :suspect:
Think I've spotted a couple of strong chefs now
The mandatory 'ambulance that isn't really there but makes nexts week episode looks tense so stick it in the preview' is back
Ramsay giving the whole of his family a holiday in the USA by the looks
Is anyone actually still watching :D
Is anyone actually still watching :D
As much as I enjoy the show I just don't have the time to watch something I've essentially seen six times already. I saw the first episode and it looks like they haven't introduced anything new and it'll just be the same by-the-numbers Hells Kitchen. I'll keep tabs on this thread instead.
I'm still watching (just about).
Can't see me doing so for another season though. If you want a really good cooking reality show watch Top Chef.
They've certainly ran out of SHOCKING!!!111 twists
Ramsay telling them all to **** off halfway through dinner service for the second time this season
Ramsay eliminating someone that wasn't even up from elimination that wasn't even in the team facing the elimination vote again for the second time this season
It was well funny when they got drunk then hungover for dinner service for the next day.
Surely it's time to bring the fat geezer aka Robert back again?!
Will he fit in the jacuzzi? Will he regret eating the 'bean rizzola'? Will anyone still be watching?
Don't miss next weeks unmissable episode!!!!
yawn.
dying slowly. can't see another series even if 'gord' needs the dosh
The Ben fella is annoying. Really hoping the big momma decks him one day.
Nothing else to add.
Autumn - You would through, wouldn't you?
The predictable 'I'm going to tease you before merging you in to a black team' twist
Although I actually wasn't sure what was going to happen with Nilka :D
...And Holly :n0rty:
I want Holly to win. If anything, to shut Ben up.
Nilka - you would though, wouldn't you?

Only seen the first ep (i.e. ep 9) but the trailer for episode 10 promises me the most dramatic episode of the year ... I don't think my heart could take it !
Holli and Jay about to get it on in the hot tub, then Autumn jumps in..
I hope Holly wins so that we can look forward to someone leaking her sex tape online as she has become famous :n0rty:

omg Gordon Ramsay is going to do something next week that he's never ever done before on an all new emotional episode !!!!
Chef Ramsay to you :dork:
What IS it with him and Whoppi Goldberg???!!! :|
Apparently Season 8 starts September 22nd!!!111
Well the 'never ever ever ever done before in Hell's Kitchen' twist was lame :| but I should know to expect that after so many hyped up previews
The twist at the end was more exciting TBH!
But next week ONE CHEF MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE IT TO DINNER SERVICE!!!111!!!111
Anyone know when this starts in the UK on ITV2 no doubt?
Well, well, well.
Bighead Ben gets eliminated.
Think the race is all but won now with Jay almost dead cert nailed for this. At least he can take Holly with him to London's Savoy.

Not sure if I've already said it.
But Holli is hot!
(and yes yes I know....)
A big **** you very much for the London Evening Standard for chucking the winners face on the front page tonight.
Tell me about it, ****** me off as well as i had it ready to watch when i got home
What is interesting is that for the first time i completely disagreed with who the winner is. I thought Jay had a much stronger service.
A big **** you very much for the London Evening Standard for chucking the winners face on the front page tonight.
Wow that would have ****** me off big time.
Glad Holli won, just as long as Ben didn't win I didn't mind who won. Hope the next season is changed up a little as it's getting stale.
Glad I don't live in London, I managed to avoid any spoilers although turns out after I watched it Holli leaked it herself back near the start of the season anyway :|
Be honest the only reason she won is Ramsay has a private suite pre booked in the Savoy :n0rty:
Not long to wait until Season 8 anyway so either they've filmed it back to back with Season 7 (Hence there won't be a major shake up!) or Season 6 and 7 were filmed back to back which may be the more likely case considering Dave showed up at the finale. Still in his cast :suspect:
Season 7 was apparently filmed 18 months ago  so Season 8 might have a slightly fresher feel. Although maybe not.
Also Holli only has a 6 month placement initially, long way to travel and a lot of effort to relocate if it don't work out... :|
I think Jay and Hollli should both work in he Savoy Grill. Jay as holli's biatch.

A big **** you very much for the London Evening Standard for chucking the winners face on the front page tonight. Ouch, I was in the States last week but somehow managed to avoid spoilers for it !
Either was ok with me to win it to be honest, oh well not long to wait for Season 8, aka the Season you won't wanna miss.
Season 8 has come about quickly. Not sure I can take more so soon. Fun though.

Gave up on this now on ITV2 - it's the same show every year! His 'Best restaurant' show is a bit better though.
Raj
I swear they've kept him in for the entertainment value. I like the 'next week' bit in the end that seems to give you the impresstion that someone gets stabbed. No doubt it's fake as the 'thief in the kitchen' one from season 7

A big thanks to the dumb ********* who gave the winner away, we don't all read the Evening Standard you know, thanks alot
Season 8
Come on Ramsay, so so so so so obvious now you're keeping the characters in no matter how much they suck at cooking
I think we have some real weird ones this time! Raj has got to stay and Sabrina is kinda - selfish and thick

Sabrina is awesome, "she's a waste of space" !
I feel a little bad for saying it but I'm expecting at any moment Raj to say "Have you seen my baseball?".

They'll keep Sabrina just because she's such an utter bitch, won't they - ditto Raj because he seems so cheerfully mental.
Has there ever bee a challenge which didn't end in a tie or gone to the wire?
Anyway, shame Raj has gone but he was getting a bit mental. THe other 2 who went are non-entities.
No idea who is going to win this. Thought Boris but he's had a lot of bad performances.
WILL TREV SURVIVE???!!!
Of course he bloody will you can see him in the preview for the next dinner service Ramsay is obviously just gonna move him back to the blue team!
It is hard work watching 2 episodes in one sitting!
I put them on my phone to watch on the train :D

It is hard work watching 2 episodes in one sitting! You you could watch both at the same time and they syncronise quite well.
zOMG THE FINAL FEW ARE TERRIBLE NONE OF THEM ARE SUITABLE FOR THE LA MARKET!
Just like last year then. Until they suddenly turn into a miracle the next episode
Yeah - it's a battle between Russell and Nona. Neither of whom I'd let near my kitchen.
Actually this is the first year where none of them deserve winning, i quite liked the guy who won season 6, he went through hell and seemed to have a lot of heart
This has turned so much into paint by numbers now it is untrue!
Disaster of a dinner service followed up by a comeback service...Check
Don't get rid of any of the 4 chefs because the service was so great and bring in the families...Check
Double elimination next week...Check
Compare the Season 7 Episode 13 with the Season 8 Episode 13 and they're virtually identical just with different faces
Russell vs Nona it is. Nice to hype up Gillian's 'comeback' then kill her at elimination
None of this actually matters as Ramsay can't even keep his word with a prize at his own restaurant! (Read up on what happened to S7 winner Holli!)
Gillian was the most likable of a very very unlikable bunch. Russell espically is a complete and utter asshole. The kind of person you meet in real life that you'd love to see fail but somehow always lands on his feet

Didn't know. Oh well. Think I am going to cancel my reservation.
Anyway, most unlikely and least talented final 2 ever!!!1111 Did voiceover man mention that? :D
LA Market looks like a canteen so maybe they'll do well there.
Meh. The obvious choice won in the end I guess
In sad news, Aaron from Season 3 passed away :(
Meh. The obvious choice won in the end I guess
Nah. I thought the obvious choice was for Ramsay to say neither had won :D
i really wishes that he does that one year. i and thought at one point a couple of weeks ago that he would call the whole thing off. at least Russell didn't win.
Just watched this last night, Russell needs a slap, what a knob. Neither were any good at all tbh.
Also Chef Holli is my friend on facebook and even sent me a message of good luck for the marathon.
