View Full Version : Ringos - **Urgent**
:(
Ringos,
If your reading,
You have not answered by e-mails. I've been waiting over one week now for my AI disk.
Two confirmations I need off you:
1) Will you ever send it to me?
2) If, not please confirm refund of my Credit Card.
Please e-mail direct as posting to this forum is not allowed by yourselves?

Ooppsss! sorry didn't see the other post
Remeber Ring0s prefers that you put your postcode in the title of the email, apparently that helps him to sort out real clients from bogus spam.

I've emailed them this week with my postcode and spoken to them on the phone and they still haven't sorted out my Holy grail problem disk. I don't think I'll be using them again which is a shame as they used to be good. :(
Yeah Stu if you do look in I have been emailing all week and dont yet have a reply.
I am still waiting for The One and Once upon a time in America, please respond.
And also email me a confirmation on my pre-orders also as requested
ta
I don't think that Ring0s is allowed to respond to you on this thread, or any other about orders or other things to do with the business.
He was given special dispensation to respond on the "We want Ringos" thread to defend the allegations against him, but that was an exception to the rule.

I've been waiting three months for my disc from Ringos. Despite their claims that my credit card would only be charged on dispatch they took the money straight away.
I've emailed several times (with postcode) and had no response, and the telephone line is permenently engaged.
I'm going to be contacting VISA and the trading standards on monday if I don't hear anything by then.

Do we really need countless number of threads about ringos??
As has been stated in other threads, Ringos are not permitted to respond to orders on these forums.
As you are all aware of the e-mail problems they have been having with spammers and other issues going on.
So give them a break!!
Take it up with them on the phone or e-mail.
ElitistRecords why are you posting on here what you intend to do on Monday? just keep it between you and them.
I think we all already have an idea how the service has degraded, so we don't need to be reminded.
I have only ordered once from them and had no problems.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when we keep hearing the same thing time and time again it's starting to get a bit tiring.
poolking : they may not be need to post but they can sure as hell read.
Don't you think we haven't been e-mailing them or phoning them?
This posting is called maximum exposure to all the poor sods like me that have not received anything from Ringos - No DVD and no e-mail repsonse.
So as "freedom of speech" goes keep your comments to yourself :P
ps. I'm not tiring one bit.

Easier said than done.. They don't answer their phones and they don't reply to emails.

Why not? This is the suppliers forum after all. I'm a disgruntled customer and I'm using a public forum to warn others about the shoddy treatment I've recieved from these people. They took £25.00 from me three months ago and I've received nothing in return. Not even an email telling me to expect a delay.
I did recieve an email with some poor excuses about mail servers and spam email. I assume they use btinternet as their site is hosted by BT? I use BT too and I've had no problems with my emails besides the odd hour or so down-time. I would also expect a massive ISP like BT to be able to block any mail-bombs that may possibly be sent before they reach a mailbox.
I'm also predicting that whoever is behind Ringos will be watching these forums like a hawk, so hopefully my threats in a public forum, rather than my ignored emails, may prompt some kind of action out of them.

Well I'm new here so it's all news to me, and perhaps others. Ironically I followed a link from Ringo's site to get here in the first place...

Ring0s probably is watching these Forums, and if people are not getting any joy from phonecalls or emails, then it is understandable that people want to post here, and hope that Ring0s read it.

I have nothing against your post as it wasn't directed for Ring0s, but the suppliers thread is for members to discuss about suppliers and not to post messages for the suppliers about specific orders unless they are a sponser (in which case there will be a sticky on top).

kcxdev is correct. They are no longer sponsors so they can't post in these sorts of threads (other sponsors will get annoyed). There is info on this in the "we want ringos thread."

it looks as though you two posters have hit the nail on the head. Ringo's can not post as a non sponsor except for general chit chat or so I understand.
Strange how ElitistRecords only 2 posts are in a slate ringos thread, you are not part of a the opposition possey are you? :D

The only reason I've stumbled across these forums is by following a link from the Ringo's site. I've seen other people posting things along similar lines to myself and I thought I'd add my own two-penneth.
No conspiracy here I'm afraid. :)

Surely they don't have to post anything? They could read the comments and mail the person concerned without anyone knowing?

yeh, they most probably will, problem, as i see it, is that the forum members shouldn't be posting question directed to them :)
This is all a bit experimental (??) cos afaik its the first time in the forums history that a big supplier (in terms of forum based customers) has stopped (or lost or whatever) its sponsership.

Hailsey did you order the R1 or R2 A.I?
Just to update you all Ringo hasn't been near a P.C since Friday as he had a family emergency, and he should be home Monday to answer your emails.

I'm a bit worried 'cos I've never had any trouble contacting Ringos before, in fact I was always amazed how quickly they responded, but now the phone is always engaged and my email is going unanswered.
I basically stopped using ********* because it was impossible to contact them, hope this is just a glitch with Ringos...

I ordered A.I Region one w/s. Purely for the earlier release date and DTS soundtrack.
HTH.

BTW if you check teh thread in teh general forum, you'll see he wasn't at Bowlers on Sat, and there seems to have been a family problem - nothing serious I hope :(
Although they didnt reply to my e-mail, Ringos have sorted out the small problem I had with my AI order. Given the speed with which they did this, in spite of everything that happened last week, this has gone a long way to restoring my faith in their CS.
I would recommend a little patience and e-mailing them again with your NAME and POSTCODE in the header.
