Seeing as this Forum is 90% talk about US TV I thought I would mention the exceptional drama that was screened Sunday to Tuesday on BBC1.

Five Daughters was the story of the five prostitues murdered in Ipswich back in December 2006. The acting from all involved was absolutely first class, pretty much faultless in fact, resulting in a very powerful and moving piece of British television that I can highly recommend you catch on the iPlayer if you missed it. It really should win an award of some kind.

I also think it is being repeated from this weekend late on BBC1. Surprised no one has mentioned it on here.

Agreed. Pure TV gold.

I work for local TV in East Anglia and would just like to say how spot-on the Stewart Gull character was. The fella who played him should be a shoe-in for a BAFTA.

As others have said this was a superb program and hopefully some the people involved in making it will win some awards.
