Today was World Pinhole Photography Day (http://www.pinholeday.org/gallery/index.php).
Did anyone else try some pinhole photos? I was out and about with my homemade 35mm job, although the poor weather in Glasgow means the results may be dubious! Film is away for processing so will post results (good or bad!) later next week.
Some of the other participants' results are already posted here (http://www.pinholeday.org/gallery/2010/index.php?epage=intro).

I had a whole day's pinholing planned, but events buggered that up so I ended up taking a few shots with my Diana + Instax back. There ain't a lot of exposure latitude in Instax film and I manages to overexpose nearly all of them though.
Hadn't realised, otherwise i would have got out the pinaroid. (Although to an extent, sod anybody who says I must use an arbitrary camera on an arbitrary day. I took my SL66 out for a spin today and enjoyed it)
Andy, I don't think the problem is fuji exposure latitude so much as the diana instax back was a really **** idea, given the diana doesn't have any real exposure options.
Aw poop. Don't know so didn't take the Holga WPC out. Took my first Holga & Diana photos (first time this year, sadly) yesterday afternoon.

My efforts with a Lensbaby Composer with Pinhole Optic:
Pinhole Jill Sails

Clockity: very nice pics. The motion of the sails - looks like they were going round at 100mph!
I think the long exposure times may have been my downfall - my pinhole camera's made out of cardboard and on a gloomy, breezy day, that equals blurred photos. Still, we'll see how they look when they're developed.

I didn't even know it was pinhole day, but went out with a friend yesterday who we bought a Diana for a while ago and taught her how to do them. Well that was once I remembered to change the shutter setting from N to B after wasting a couple of frames ;)
Not processed them yet. Interested to see how they come out.

Managing to "cheat" with a Lensbaby and my dSLR meant that I could vary the shutter speeds to work out the best one for bright sunlight. This seemed to be 2 to 3 seconds. I might try some more and post process them to get slightly off colours from expired film... The windmill sails do look more like a propeller plane at that shutter speed

Got my pinhole photos developed now. Surprisingly not too much shake (exposure times ranged from 1.5 - 90s) but I fell foul of the the extreme wide-angle that the pinhole produces and my fingers featured heavily in many of the photos!
Anyway, here's a selection (full set on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/moving-pictures/sets/72157623951171722/)):
(all photos taken around Glasgow)

There are some pretty impressive efforts. I'll have to have a go and get my son to try as well.
D'oh, sorry, some how a double post.

Half the fun is making your own camera (and then having the satisfaction of using it). I used this one (http://www.pinholeday.org/support/linkto.php?id=58). (Pictures of the camera here (http://movingpictures.posterous.com/world-pinhole-photography-day-2010-0).)
