Pulp Fiction (Region 2)

I have just bought a second hand DVD, Pulp fiction (Region 2). The problem is that the bottom half of the picture when you are playing the disc jumps around. The top half is fine.

The disc looks in good condition (No Scratches) I also have lots of other discs that are no problem.

Does anyone kow what the problem could be?

I had this problem playing PF in a Samsung 807. It seems fine on my LG4710 and Wharfedale 750s, so I'd say its related to the player...

you're not by any chance playing on DVD-ROM are you ?

i had the exact problems on my laptop, but just sorted out gfx options.

No I am using it on my normal machine which is a Smart something or other, Multiregion, no macrovision job.
