We're both with the Halifax, I have quite a big debt on my credit card with a small-ish limit, and she has a massive limit but hasn't ever used it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer the balance on my credit card over to hers? If so, would there be a charge? Any repercussions for her?

you can't transfer yours to hers :p

she can transfer yours to hers though. I've done balance transfers from one card to another.

wether its possibl? well does her card accept balance transfers? usually there is a 3% fee PLUS interest charged from day 1 (or could be 0% for a year).

Reprercussions: She'd be stuck with the debt if you ran off.

better to pay yours down and use hers for more day to day spending? Or you apply for a 0% BT card and just use that for the old debt and keep your current one paid off each month.

Another consideration is that they might not allow balance transfers from one Halifax card to another.
