Basically I like the looks of the Casio toughphones, who does them in the UK and also do they work over here (PAYG)

Not up on mobiles so thanks for the help. :)

Otherwise its a Nokia 3720 form Play.

No where then?

Shame as the specs and ruggedness of some of their models look very good indeed.

Thanks but the Sonim phones are just too chunky while the Nokia3720 is not quite rugged enough.

Hi

I dont think these are available in the UK, I believe they are Verizon phones.

Does that mean that if I imported one it would not work here?

A Verizon uses CDMA not GSM and their phones will be unusable in the UK.

I do not know if Verizon makes a 'world phone' but I do not think these are as the Casio site says "only available on Verizon Wireless".

Sorry Dude

Thanks for the heads up.

Shame really as the specs/prices look really good and we need more toughphones in the UK. The usual retail suspects have the Samsung Solid B2100 :gag: You cannot even find a Sonim anymore (if I wanted one)

Looks like it will have to be a Nokia 3720 classic then. Would go for one on £10/month contract if I could find one.

I am not sure on the battery life though, 1550 hours standby, I hate carrying a charger cable with me!
