Friend on Facebook has asked if anyone was selling a DS or Wii.

Coincidently I have both that I wish to shift, but have no idea what they are worth.

It's a black DS (not DSi) with the box, charger and a few games

Wii was bought when they first came out, fully boxed, 2 wiimotes, 2 nun-chucks, Component cable, classic control pad. Got some games but I don't think they are wanted.

So what's a fair price to sell to a mate?

£60-£70 is a fair price for a second hand DS Lite if its in good nick and the touchscreen doesn't have any bumps or lumps on it.

The Wii seems to be alot cheaper nowadays with all the sites doing good bundles. I think £100-£110 is reasonable for a good condition 2nd hand model seeing the new bundles that are out there and the prices.

If your mate kicked in an extra £60 over the top selling prices that I suggested he could get everything new.

You sure the DS Lite is worth as much as that? It is in good nick.

I thought nearer £40-50.

Yep, the second hand prices for DSs are very strong.

The value of the Wii though has nosedived.

A couple of weeks ago Sainsburys were doing a deal on the Wii:

Black Wii
Wiimote
Nunchuk
Motion Plus
Wii Sports
Wii Sports Resort

All for £115, so I think you'd be pushing it asking for more than £100, especially considering it's a mate.
