I bought a second hand Sherwood amp and something has happened to the centre speaker output. I rang Richer Sounds and they will only look at it if I purchased it from that store and also if I have my original receipt.

Where else can I take it ?

Is it really worth the cost ? One of the main reasons for buying the amp was the RF input for my LD player.

Hi Dave,

Is this when it is in Pro-Logic mode??

I mention it because there was a bug in the software for this amp (I used to have it).

I seem to remember that you had to play with the speakers size, sub woofer option, it's all on one button. Anyway, just get it flahing and press enter and the centre channel dhould come back on.

Whenever I switch the center speaker on using the menu, I get a loud noice from the center then the amp powers off.
