Yesterday I managed to install my new Toshiba Regza 55ZV635DB. It's a great TV and with it being 55 inches, it's like having my own personal cinema.

But there does seem to be one minor problem. For some reason there are two bright yellowish-white spots of light in both bottom corners of the TV.

Anyone know what these are? How I can get rid if them? Why they're there? Is there something wrong with the TV?

Ant help and advise would be very welcome.

Are they sort of ambient lights? I used to have them on my old LCD and managed to get rid of them but it involved service menu shenanigans. Sometimes things like that can be controlled from the eco settings - there might be a setting to turn them down.

Or it could be backlight bleed, in which case there aint a lot you can do, I dont think.

Kind of an oxymoron...

Sounds like backlight bleed. I would call the shop and try and get an engineer out to fix it. If they can't buy a plasma.
