N95 Screen dead. Been replaced but still not working. What else?

Baby was playing the other week and had hold of my N95 which, as with most things at the moment, ended up in her mouth overed in dribble.

Left to dry out in the airing cupboard but screen was dead so ordered a cheap replacement from ebay but still no joy. It powers up all ok just no screen.

Is there any thing else likely to be wrong or simply managed to get a knackered screen to replace with.
