Can anyone tell me their experiences from this place when it copmes to buy dvd's from www.northamericandvd.com

I had the World at War set from them which took a little while to come into stock but they were fairly good at replying to emails. When it eventually arrived it was delivered by UPS and fortunately the declared value was under £18 because otherwise those swine at UPS would not only have ’fessed me up to Customs but also slapped one of their ridiculous £10 admin charges on top as has happened on other deliveries using them.

I wanted to order the X Files season 5 from them as well but got no reply to my mail asking if this package too would be undervalued and checking on their site they say they can’t undervalue packages as it’s illegal.

In all, happy with the purchase I made but I won’t be ordering again for anything over £18 as the potential charges would be way too high, more from UPS than customs.

I've used them several times and never had any problems. I have never been caught by customs, but then I never try and spend more than $30 with them.
