View Full Version : Making Sky Multi-Room help needed...
I have Sky digital in the living room with a RF lead going from the second output into the kitchen. I have now put a portable in the kids play room and also want Sky on that, but there is no way it is really feasable to run a cable from the living room into the play room.
Are there other solutions, like video senders etc... ?
Dave
sorry, just re-read your post :o
We got SKY to cable three other rooms (as well as the living room) so that we can use the little remote control receiver gizmos and remote controls in each of the rooms.
Video Senders work great - just took the plunge - however if you have no RF connectionthen you will HAVE to watch what is on the SKY box downstairs in all rooms. You could always stick a nasty little loop aerial on the sets.........

We have to watch that way now in the kitchen, so not to bothered.
Where can you get video senders from ? and is the quality good on the receiving end ?
Dave
Argos - £79.99 with one or £120 with two receivers.
Work great - you do get a bit of patterning on screen when using the remote (AEI tell me it is unavoidable!?) but the picture is fantastic.
