Don't know if this has been posted before but i have just checked ou the trailer for 'Zu Warriors' and it looks amazing. Wasn't it originally to be titled 'Legend of Zu' ? Looks good anyway.

The title change is miramax's fault. Also they are calling Eking Cheng Eric Cheng. You can buy this now on DVD.

Are u referring to the 83 film or the 99 film?
The 83 film was Zu warriors and 99 a virtual remake called Legend of Zu.
Pioneering special effects for Hong Kong in 83.
It all seemed to go nowhere.
Not my favourite HK flick. 83's special effects look very dated now.

Actually legend of zu was made in 2001, which is the version smiddyboy is refering to if you looked at the link.

The Chinastar DVD of Legend Of Zu is currently unavailable - all Chinastar and Ocean Shores DVDs have been pulled off sale as Mei Ah have acquired the rights (I think). Hopefully they won't alter the excellent Chinastar disc if/when they rerelease it...

Anyway, Legend of Zu (2001) is ****es.

If it weren't for the 2 lead female actresses it would almost be unwatchable.:D

I disagree.
Its far from perfect, but I still really like it.
Total blast, like watching a suped up Mortal Kombat videogame.

I have to agree with Ono, yeah it looked amazing but after a while it was just boring, nothing but flashy effects

Yep - sold my last sealed one on Ebay for a pretty extortionate amount :nuts:

It wasn't that bad - but Ziyi was criminally underused :mad: :mad: Oh well..... I'll just have to wait for Musa now.
