where 2 get TV fixed

Anybody know where to get a toshiba rear projection TV fixed. Mines is stuck on standby and they place where i got it from are completely useless. It happened before and because it was still guaranteed they fixed it . But know dont even remeber where they got it repaired . I tried a couple of shops that said all repairs guaranteed and it turned out to be a load of rubbish. Please help me.

I had a 2 1/2 year old JVC TV go wrong and had the joyful experience of being ripped off by people who could just about identify which way to point the remote. Lots of companies claim to be repairers but few are authorised or are any good.

I ended up contacting JVC through their web site, by post and (pointlessly) via telephone (never got through) - eventually they recommended their authorised agent.
Turned out it needed a very expensive new tube but a few polite letters and some persistence got the part replaced for free and I only had to pay for the labour.

My advice would be to contact Toshiba and find out who their local agent is even if its a touch more expensive, its not like your TV is cheap.
