Red Wolf is just so bad it's deadly. The plot is really bad and direction is haphazard but the film itself is deadly. Terrorists seize control of a cruise ship hoping to steel the uranium from the safe on board (what's uranium doing on a cruise ship?) The action comes thick and fast and is quite violent.
The fighting is very fast in it. The main reason I got was because it's made by Woo Ping and it was worth it. Anybody that likes Hong Kong films should enjoy this as it's quite funny. Some of the villains in it disappear altogether. An Under Siege rip-off and a hell of a lot better than that rubbish Speed 2: Cruise Control!
The picture quality is a bit grainy, probably one of the weaker transfers from HKL, but still an excellent job done on it. I checked out some of the extras and there's a bout 4 hours of stuff on it. Mainly interviews and there's also an hour long documentary about stuntmen in Hong Kong. Bobby Samuels is interviewed on it and he formed the first western stunt team in Hong Kong called G7 in which Red Wolf was their first and only film they made...
