View Full Version : T-Mobile, just offerred me an Iphone as upgrade
T mobile just offered me an Iphone as an upgrade to my existing package.
I'm was paying with my discounts £11+VAT p/m for 18mths.
Now the contract is over they have offerred me the following :
either :-
1. 3G Iphone @ £35p/m for 24mths. 1000 Talk Mins + Unlimited Texts + Unlimited Web. Or
2. 3G Iphone @ £45p/m for 18mths. 1000 Talk Mins + Unlimited Texts + Unlimited Web.
3. I can stay on my current contract, but no new phone.
I do want an Iphone , but my concerns are the Iphone is 3G not 3GS and the period of the contract.
Which one do i go for , if any ????:shrug:

Seems pretty bad given that you can get an Iphone 3GS on the same sort of 18 month contract from Orange and O2 for a shade under £50pm all in. TBH if I had an £11pm contract I was happy with I'd just keep it and shell out on a none Iphone sim-free product - HTC Hero springs to mind.

None - that's a COMPLETE rip-off. Did you not check other networks offers???
No, have not checked the high st yet.
TBH if I had an £11pm contract I was happy with I'd just keep it and shell out on a none Iphone sim-free product - HTC Hero springs to mind.
need to be careful though as without any kind of data tariff one would get raped on the data charges using something like a phone like that.

True but just factor in the £5-8pm extra for an unlimited data tariff when making your buying decision
3gs isnt much of an upgrade over the 3g. Should only be 6 months until the new one too :p
