It's on TV this week - ch4 or 5. Thursday I think.
Anyone seen this?
The original is a real curiosity. I would have thought the remake (1996) could have went to town with the filming technology available.
Imdb reviews generally describe it as poor.
Opinions of the all worthies here?

Saw this a few years ago. Poor film. I wish I could go into specifics, but I can't remember much other than the bad feeling it gave me!!!

If you like the original it's worth a watch just for reference I suppose, plus if you're not expecting too much then you might well enjoy it!!!

They remade Vanishing point!!!!!11111


Primal Scream like the film so much they made an album about it. ( Called amazingly enough....Vanishing Point. )

I think so!! Mind you I'm not crazy about my memory! Or maybe I'm just crazy.

That's my recollection anyway!

Checked and the remake is a TV Movie and stars Viggo Mortenson

The Vanishing point remake is on ITV1 this Saterday at 12.15am.I'll probably tape it i liked the original so i should like this although both storys are different.

I was close - wrong day and wrong channel!!
Ah well right film anyway. 1 out of 3 ain't bad.
